“I have been a social worker for over 30 years. I served on the faculties of Columbia, Fordham and Loyola Schools of Social Work, and wrote a book, Unequal Justice: the Prosecution of Child Sexual Abuse. I conducted practice-related research for two national child welfare organizations. My approach to therapy is grounded in my experience, clinical and academic. I view a person's environment as critical to their emotional state. I combine this traditional approach with energy psychology techniques such as EFT & Advanced Integrative Therapy (AIT). My style is supportive and gently directive, but above all, respectful of the individual.

I help people discover and eliminate destructive personal and interpersonal patterns, make difficult life decisions and find paths to greater fulfillment. I see emotional pain as a signal that we are ready to grow but don't know exactly how. Therapy can sometimes point the way.

Thoreau said: "It takes two to speak the truth, one to speak and one to hear." I hope that by being the "one to hear" I will have the privilege of enabling my clients to speak their own truth and enrich their lives.”
