“My goal in therapy is to contribute to more hopeful, positive and productive lives. I respect my clients and use brief therapy and problem solving approaches seeing myself as temporarily involved in their journey. I look for positive behavior/attitude and build on these, anyway, always seeing to it that clients get the credit for improvement. I underscore what works rather than what is broken. I value empathy building, and help unhealthy relationships become kinder to one another even if the individuals may decide to go their separate ways

Having grown up in a family where my parents were from different nationalities and diverse religious commitment, I am naturally sensitive to diversity issues.

I have done postgraduate training in sex therapy and gender identity concerns, family therapy, Ericksonian techniques including hypnosis. Since 1975 I have been the clinical director of the Gender Program of Central Ohio (www.genderprogram.com)and help people discover their way through their gender identity struggle.”
